Charlie’s Friend is a great guy. A next door neighbor. A son of immigrants, helping his fellow immigrant neighbor. A supporter, a
loving person with a great sense of humor. An unassuming ally, a merry buddy and an astute council whenever needed. He’s a
family man, a hard working Canadian willing to lend a helping hand. There is a little bit of Charlie in every one of us, therefore
we were inspired to start Charlie’s Friend Art Café.
Charlie’s Friend Art Cafe is a unique and cozy coffee house located in the heart of Bloordale Village, on the southwest corner of
Bloor Street West and Dufferin Street. We offer a great variety of specialty coffee drinks as well as an excellent selection of
organic teas and fabulous fresh baked goods. For Charlie’s Friend Art Cafe, coffee isn’t a commodity, it’s a community. For us,
even a quick stop into Charlie’s Friend Art Cafe is about social connection and the celebration of people, place and culture.
So, there is more than “just” coffee at Charlie’s Friend Art Cafe.
We use organic and ethically produced as well as socially just ingredients, and we seek after others as price and availability
allow. We always prepare our food fresh daily and made to order, with loving attention to quality and presentation. Our wish is
that our food and drink will nurture our patron’s body and spirit.
At Charlie’s Friend Art Cafe, we accept responsibility for our actions and are accountable for the results achieved. Therefore, we
constantly re-evaluate our services and actively elicit, listen and act upon information for continuous improvement, actively
promoting innovative practices in all that we do and are involved with.
And, we also exhibit art.
